The T&K Origin Story
Brad and Richard had been friends for many years, working together at Carrier Air Conditioning. They shared a passion for problem-solving and technology, so when Brad suggested they start an air conditioning company together, it seemed like the perfect fit. They named their business T&K Airpower after themselves – Brad was the ‘T’ and Richard was the ‘K’. With little money but plenty of enthusiasm, they set out to build a successful air conditioning business in Adelaide South Australia.
In the early days of running their own business, they worked hard to build up their reputation as reliable technicians with excellent customer service skills. They made sure that every job was completed correctly and efficiently which soon saw them become well known within the local community as trustworthy experts in air conditioning solutions. As their business grew, they invested in the latest technology and equipment to ensure that they were offering their customers the best service possible.
Richard decided to retire in 2013. Brad was determined to continue the legacy of T&K Airpower, and so he partnered with Oliver and Sean who bought out Richard’s share of the company. With a fresh pair of eyes on board, Oliver and Sean were able to bring new ideas that could help Brad grow T&K Airpower. They took on more staff, ensuring that each employee was properly trained and qualified.
After almost 30 years of hard work, dedication and commitment to technical excellence, T&K Airpower has grown into one of Adelaide’s leading air conditioning companies. Brad, Richard, Oliver and Sean have built a thriving enterprise from the ground up – something they could all be proud of. Today, T&K Airpower continues to provide superior customer service with an emphasis on quality workmanship at competitive prices.
The company is still run by Brad, Oliver and Sean who remain committed to providing excellent air conditioning solutions for all sorts of premises. T&K Airpower has come a long way since Brad and Richard first started the business all those years ago. They’ve built something that they can be proud of – an air conditioning company that stands for technical excellence, customer satisfaction and value for money.

A local air conditioning business established in 1996, specialising in the service, repair and maintenance of air conditioning equipment.
We have grown over the last 30 years as the preferred service providers to some of the largest manufacturers of air conditioning systems in Australia. These brands include Mitsubishi Electric, Temperzone and Hitachi. We currently provide breakdown repairs for these manufacturers for the duration of their domestic and commercial warranty periods and are the sole warranty agents for the Mitsubishi Electric and Hitachi VRF within Adelaide.
